Have you seen the documentary “Midwife:  A Look into the World of Homebirth Midwifery”?

This wonderful film was created by our friend, local photographer, filmaker and homebirthing mother, Allison Kuznia.  The film features Geneabirth midwife, Sarah Biermeier and follows Sarah and several families during the course of midwifery care including prenatal appointments, labor and birth and postpartum care.  The births shown  highlight the power and beauty of birth as well as the challenges that can arise. The film includes conversations with  a number of our  lovely midwives from the Twin Cities area, midwives from nearby states, birthing families and birth advocates.   You can read more about the film  and watch the trailer here.
